But believe me, that doesn't make it any less true.
So here ya go:

I think I've lost my desire to draw anything right now...
I don't know.
I still draw, every day...
But I'm not happy with like, ANY of the stuff I come up with.
In the past week I've probably scrapped 4 drawings halfway through finishing them, just because I didn't like the way it was looking.
I think I've hit a wall.
This is really the first time that this has happened to me THIS bad.
I've had it happen where after a day or two, I'm back in the swing of things and getting out stuff I like and everything... but this has been going on for a while.
I don't know why I'm making this blog though, it really seems like I'm making excuses or something. As if the work I've been putting up is only sub-par and I'm just telling you guys "HAH! GOTCHA! I WASN'T EVEN TRYING ANYWAYS.. I COULD DO BETTER IF I REALLY WANTED TO!"
But trust me, that's not the case.
I'm just trying to figure it out I guess.
I really don't know how to handle this, seeing as how it's never happened to me before, in all the (probably) 15 years I've been drawing.
I'll take the easy way out and just blame this one on the economy.
Yea. That's it.
Have you guys seen the economy lately?? Why would ANYONE want to draw at a time like this!?
...
But seriously.
If you're actually someone that checks my stuff semi-often, I'm sorry if it has seemed a bit uneventful around here.
I'm just trying to get the fire started under my... pencil.
...So that I can draw more pictures.
..With fire
...What..?
Love,
Christopher
p.s. - Don't worry, I'm not even sure what I'm talking about half the time.

Options:
-Get away from drawing and watch a lot of your favorite cartoons.
-start sketches and leave them in rough form.... walk away from them. Don't hard-line 'em or anything.
-I recall you being a musician; Get really into your music for a few days... try to master a song or write that tune that's been nagging the back of your brain.
This all boils down to getting your mind off of what's keeping you from getting the finished piece and gets your brain back to the inspiration that drives your creative mind. You'll be back before you know it.

"In my world if it isn't mangled, it needs to be."
- Take a break - don't draw shit in a day or two (but that's the max!!!) but write something related. Comic strips or even a small adventure short-story or poem - what ever you like.
- Change the place(s) you draw. If you are just sitting on your table or something else hours per day can really bore you up and can give up on anything... slob!
- Okay, this tip always works for me and I can discover my love for drawing again and again every damn day IF I rest enough - 6-8 hours of "normal sleep" and 1-3 hours of "nap sleep". Also exercise or go to the gym. A bit of jogging/walking doesn't hurt anyone. Don't just stay inside anyways!
Oh, and reading news, interwebz, watching some ... daily show or colbert report, one or two movies etc always help
Just don't stuck in one thing...
I guess everyone hits this wall sometime.. I don't know whether to count myself lucky or not that it took so long to hit this wall heh.
I'll give your tactics a try!
..Mostly because I could definitely use the excuse to watch some cartoons that I've been missing out on

Cartoons and such..
I was giving the drawing in new places thing a try, but I don't know.. I just got distracted if I went someplace new heh..
I'll give the writing a shot! Try and write out some outlines for comics and later draw it all out
Thanks again
